Zebra Mussel Awareness

In recent years, Zebra Mussels have posed a significant threat to lakes and waterways across the Midwest, including the discovery in two Omaha lakes. Eradicating these invasive species from a lake is a challenging task. It is our collective responsibility to prevent the introduction of this threat to our lake. The most effective prevention method is to avoid using our boats in other lakes and rivers. For those who travel with their boats to other water bodies, we strongly recommend watching the following videos to better understand and combat this threat.
